Alhoota Cave is a giant natural cave is located in the state of internal AlHamra region of the Sultanate of Oman locals discovered hundreds of years ago was opened as a tourist destination in the month of December 2006. Cave extends for a distance of 5 kilometers underground The distance that can be accessed is 800 meters.The cave is named by that name in relation to village Alhoota which the cave is located within its scope. This cave contains natural exotic forms of dissolved salts formed in rainwater and varied forms and colors.
